Autumn had well and truly hit us now. Sweet chestnuts have been picked and are ready for roasting!
The mushrooms are springing up everywhere... So delicate and beautiful
The shooting season had now started for me and the dogs. Indie had her first day which was eventful and thoroughly over exciting. Luckily Charlie was there to add some sobriety to the occasion with all his experience...
Such amazing colours...
Indie was so chuffed with herself after a long day... She was later found on my bed clearly believing she had behaved so well she deserved 5* sleeping arrangements! I'm not so sure about this.
To end a lovely weekend we had my mothers birthday which we celebrated with an amazing meal at The Black Swan in Oldstead... A truly amazing pub! Such unique and interesting food. Below is the Douglas fir ice-cream with a lemon and sheep's milk sorbet, served with a Douglas fir infused dry-ice... Amazing smells!
A cheeky visit with a friend to the world famous Yorkshire tea rooms... Bettys. This resulted in a rather yummy takeaway after a fabulous lunch and hot chocolate on this wet day!
A much needed delicious raspberry macaroon after a blustery autumnal walk with Indie this evening...
She outdid herself this evening, managing to behave the whole way!
We had an amazing walk this morning, in what seemed to be a halloween scene with mist and spiders webs covering everything. There was a surprising lack of spiders considering the webs.
